How do I receive Bitcoin?

When you create a profile, a Bitcoin wallet is automatically generated for you. Anyone visiting your profile can click Donate and send Bitcoin directly to your wallet.
What is an OIO KEY?

Your OIO KEY is your cryptographic identity. It is shown once at registration. Keep it safe — it is used to log in and publish content via API. We cannot recover it if lost.
Are there any fees?

OIO.SO charges 0% on donations. The only fee is the Bitcoin network fee deducted by the SUBTC Protocol when you withdraw — this goes to Bitcoin miners, not to us.
Is my content permanent?

Yes. All posts are stored on IPFS — a decentralized network. Content cannot be deleted by any single party, including OIO.SO. Your words are yours, forever.
